Job Description


Under limited supervision, able to perform general maintenance work, and/or a variety of other routine building and structural maintenance Responsible for providing custodial services which may include general cleaning, light maintenance and grounds keeping for company properties.


  • Inspect buildings, sites and equipment for needed repair / maintenance.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests. Troubleshoot issues to determine cause and solution.
  • Work different shifts to perform preventive maintenance.
  • Maintain proper maintenance records.
  • Assist in the oversight of contractors who perform work onsite.
  • Perform grounds keeping
  • Conduct quarterly fire suppression testing.
  • Perform HVAC filter changes.
  • Corporate document retention
  • Operate machinery such as forklift.
  • Conduct maintenance tasks such as painting and door repairs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work space.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements


  • Familiar with carpentry, electrical, painting, plumbing, heating / cooling, ventilation, roofing and security systems.
  • Deadline and detail oriented.
  • Strong oral and communication skills.
  • Capability to work independently
  • Able to manage multiple maintenance requests and prioritize.
  • Ability to complete work efficiently and effectively within established time guidelines.
  • Knowledge of cleaning and light maintenance supplies.
  • Knowledge of general cleaning procedures.
  • Ability to read and understand instructions and warning labels.
  • Computer literate.


  • Work is performed both in company office buildings and on company grounds.


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
  • Must be able to perform physical work such as lifting up to 75 pounds continuously.


  • Maintain a valid Minnesota driver’s license.
