Job Description

Factory Motor Parts is searching for an energetic and creative Marketing Specialist to join our growing FMP team. This position will help support the launch of key initiatives as well as implement and deploy marketing content for our company’s websites, social media channels, sponsorships and activations, and media. In addition, be responsible for supporting internal and external partners. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and creativity.

You will work alongside our Marketing team to ensure that communications accurately and consistently reflect our brand and mission. There are also opportunities to write content, develop & execute marketing initiatives and assist in the management of various marketing projects.

A day in the life:

  • Ensure the successful achievement of the Marketing teams goals by organizing, planning, and prioritizing activities, conducting research, program analysis, and project plan updates for overall department objectives and projects.
  • Perform various administrative support tasks including but not limited to assisting in the development and execution of strategic media plans, processing invoices, preparing and distributing departmental meeting notes, and managing marketing calendar of programs and events.
  • Responsible for overseeing assigned aspects of the online company store; may include sourcing, pricing, fulfillment, and communication.
  • Involved with the coordination of all corporate sponsorships and activations including all logistics – such as booth, communications, collateral, people, and on-site support. Continuously seek out ways to maximize current sponsorships to increase visibility and support brand growth.
  • May assist and/or develop communications for internal and external audiences. Ensure that messages are supportive of and consistent with marketing strategies.
  • Develop an understanding of customers and market needs in order to create, update, or maintain marketing objectives.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by Marketing Managers while maintaining confidentiality of all matters coming to their attention.

Job Requirements

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent work experience. 3-5 years of related experience preferred.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to have an impact on a rapidly-growing company.
  • Ability to travel up to 10-20%.
