Title:                    Parts Professional
Location:              Indianapolis, IN
Pay:                     DOE (Base + Commission)
Status:                 Permanent, Full Time
Shift:                    1st Shift: Monday – Friday, may include Saturdays

Due to our continued growth, we are looking for experienced and customer focused Parts Professionals for our NEW LOCATION in Indianapolis, IN.


The Parts Professional will talk with our customer to identify their needs and resolve any order issues. To be successful in this role, you must have excellent selling skills and ability to strengthen the overall relationship between Factory Motor Parts and the customer.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Taking customer orders over the phone
  • Looking up auto parts in our FMP parts catalog system
  • Process customer orders with high degree of accuracy
  • Trouble shoot and make recommendations to meet customer needs
  • Maintain strong product knowledge of auto parts, warranties, promotions, and sales programs

Job Requirements

Parts Professional requirements include:

  • At least 3 Years experience with Automotive Parts
  • 1-2 years previous sales and customer service experience
  • Ability to look up parts in our parts catalog systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong background in mechanics & ASE certification is a plus

Compensation is based on experience and includes base pay plus commissions.
