Job Description

This is a temporary position intended to provide coverage during a maternity leave. 

JOB SUMMARY:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for proactively sourcing, interviewing, and on-boarding internal and external candidates for open positions within the organization. This individual will deliver leadership and direction to hiring managers in regards to recruitment and selection best practices, including interviewing, selection due diligence, and on boarding.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will have content expertise in the following areas and will be responsible for the following:

  • Responsible for the development and implementation of a recruitment strategy for each open position. This will entail taking into account location, job market, location management style, and past recruitment successes.
  • Will serve as the main point of contact in the area of recruitment, pre-employment processes, and on boarding of new hires.
  • Will proactively source internal and external candidate pools to meet the organizations needs for the right candidate at the right time.
  • Responsible for coordinating interviews and new hire paperwork for the corporate office.
  • Responsible for HR record retention activities in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Maintain, analyze, and find solutions related to recruitment metrics.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality and discloses information as appropriate only on a need to know basis.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Extraordinary levels of initiative and follow through in order to create a world class recruitment and selection process.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop effective and professional working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Working knowledge of department programs, policies and procedures relating to area of assigned responsibility.
  • Ability to operate personal computer equipment and software including Microsoft Office and Applicant Tracking System.
  • Ability to process and complete work within established deadlines.
  • Adhere to the highest standards of ethics, integrity, professionalism, sensitivity, confidentiality

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field AND
  • 3-5 years of recruiting experience

OR

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience.
