Warehouse Supervisor
(Receiving Supervisor / Warehouse Manager / Automotive Parts / Inbound Manager / Distribution / Outbound Manager)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, implement, and monitor the day-to-day operations for the shipping department to ensure that established objectives for shipping, delivery, safety, and timeliness are met or exceeded.
  • Monitor loading, dispatch, and shipping times and make needed changes to ensuring compliance with policies and customer expectations.
  • Inform and communicate with associates daily to ensure compliance with established warehouse expectations, productivity, safety, and housekeeping standards and procedures.
  • Monitor and complete numerous computer-based and/or manual reports and related paperwork, including time records, daily ship/delivery logs, shortages, damage reports, etc.
  • Monitor product shortages and audits delivery routes and shuttles to ensure reliable product delivery.
  • Plan and schedule manpower and labor resources and work to reduce overtime.
  • Plan and coordinate warehouse equipment maintenance and utilization.
  • Perform other related and assigned duties as necessary.

In addition to the Warehouse duties, this position may be responsible for the safe, timely and accurate delivery of customer's automotive parts to their location using a company provided vehicle; per location needs.

Job Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: 

  • Understands relevant safety policies, practices, and procedures (Forklift Certification, Train the Trainer, and OSHA compliance).
  • Comprehends efficiencies for storage and shipping of products.
  • Understands Inventory control concepts and techniques.
  • Recognizes and can apply Supervisory philosophies and methods.
  • Ability to schedule and monitor associate’s attendance, productivity, quality, and performance.
  • Proficient in excel, word and other Microsoft products a plus.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

  • 3-6 years’ experience as a Supervisor
  • 3-6 years’ experience in a pick/pack operation
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Valid Class C or D license
  • Clean Driving Record
  • 21 years of age or older
